Power Consumption

What is the power consumption of the property?
When talking about the power consumption of a property in Swedish, it refers to the total power used by a property at a specific moment or "drawn" from the electrical grid. In other words, it is the total electricity usage of all active electrical appliances at a given instant.
For example, if you are using a heat pump, refrigerator/freezer, a lamp, and a computer simultaneously, the property has a certain power consumption. However, if you also want to charge an electric vehicle, the property's power consumption changes and increases.

Difference between power and energy – kilowatts or kilowatt-hours?
If you want to see how much power a property has consumed in total over a certain period of time, such as a month, you no longer refer to power consumption but rather energy.
What is energy?
Energy = power ⋅ time
Therefore, power is measured in kilowatts (kW), while energy is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
The power consumption of a property is an instantaneous snapshot of all active electrical appliances at that moment, while the energy consumed by a property is the total power drawn over a longer period of time.
